Coach Maria has more than 25 years' experience coaching developmental to competitive levels in the U.S. and overseas. She is a technical coach who emphasizes technique with a long-term vision of taking her swimmers to the highest competitive levels. She excels in building AZ State Champions from scratch.

- Head Coach: East Valley Swim Team 2021-Current
- Head Site Coach: Swim Neptune, 2011-2020
- Head Coach: Immaculate Conception Acadamy, Army and Navy Club Swim Team, Letran College, 1981-1993
- Built her previous team from 3 swimmers to 85 swimmers single handedly in her first year of coaching.
- Developed the youngest Filipino Olympian athlete in the country's history at the age of 13 since training with Coach Maria at age 6.
- Produced countless first time AZ State "A" level STATE Champions and finalist.
- Produced 'AA and AAA" age group Far Western qualifiers from scratch and national qualifiers overseas.
- Mentored entry level coaches and conducted swim clinics overseas.
- Coach Maria has attained an American Swimming Coach Assn (ASCA) level 3 International distinction
- She is AZ Interscholastic Assn (AIA) Referee and Starter certified
- She was selected to the Philippine National Team which competed in Indonesia, Seoul Korea, Republic of China and Hong Kong.

Great News ! Developmental I Swimmers are Moving Up FAST!
After only a few months of training, our beginning Developmental group is now moving up to BRONZE group with great stroke technique and precision.
Swimmers learned all 4 competitive strokes legally by USA Swimming Standard, flip turns and forward dive. They are ready to RACE II! How exciting!!!
New coach on board
Coach Leo Hass
Leo Hass has been around the water his whole life. He swam club in Arizona between the ages of 10 and 17, was team captain for his high school team from his freshman through senior years and began his coaching career straight out of high school.
Leo has worked with all levels of swimming, from lessons to developmental, age group to senior, and even master's level swimming. He has mentored swimmers who achieved Regional qualifying times to Olympic Trials cuts.
Previously, he has coached with Seville, Rio, and MAC swim clubs, and was the Head Coach at both Arizona College Preparatory High School and Casteel High School, leading both to top ten finishes in their respective divisions. He has attained the American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA) Level 1 distinction.
When not on the pool deck, you can find Leo teaching elementary PE in Mesa, at the gym, on a hike, or watching his favorite sports team, the Phoenix Suns.
